Well it’s that weigh in time again.  Let’s see what the scale has to say this week:

So looks like I lost another 5 ½ lbs.  I will take it.  Everything seems to be going according to my evil master plan to rule the world..I mean my weight loss plan.

I talked a little about my diet philosophies in my last post and this week I wanted to get down to the nitty-gritty of what my diet actually looks like:

7:30am Protein shake with 1 scoop of Kylea Living Greens and 1 scoop of Vega One protein shake

9:30am Fresh Fruit – I prefer strawberries and blueberries, but also raspberries are good here as well (and it gives me a chance to talk about one of my favorite scenes from Spaceballs.  A large jar of red jam is seen flying through space and crashing into a radar antenna.  Storm Trooper: Sir! The radar has been…jammed! (as sticky red lines run down the radar screen).  Dark Helmet runs his finger through the red line and takes a taste. Dark Helmet: Raspberry!  There is only one man who would dare give me the raspberry…)

12:30pm Salad (romaine, leaf lettuce, or Boston lettuce) with half a chicken breast added.  I use olive oil for salad dressing because commercial salad dressing can really add a lot of bad fat, sodium, and carbs to your meal.  I have also recently added a quarter to a half can of black beans to this meal for more protein and fiber.

3:30pm Half a chicken breast and mixed vegetables.  For vegetables, I like broccoli, Brussel sprouts, asparagus, and sometimes I will add cauliflower, or baby carrots.

6:30pm Protein shake with 1 scoop of Vega One protein shake

There you have it.  Eating 5 times a day speeds up your metabolism.  It is important to make every meal to keep that engine humming.  There will be times you do not feel like eating but you must be disciplined and stick to the meal plan.  Your body will adjust after a while and it will let you know when it is time to eat, trust me on that one.

OK that’s it for today.  I want to take a minute to thank my loyal fans that read this blog (all three of you) and remind everyone to come by Star Cryotherapy.  We can take the pain out of getting started on that diet and exercise plan.  Have a great week.
