Cryotherapy does many wonderful things for your health but I am going to take a personal journey to test out some of the claims for myself. I will be posting pictures of my progress, talking about what I am eating, sharing my favorite products, and hopefully having a few laughs along the way.
Here is my “Before” pictures at the start of my journey:
Yep, 277 lbs. Yikes! So I guess we will see if this Cryotherapy thing works, huh? Specifically, the claim that Cryotherapy can burn up to 800 calories per session, that consistently doing Cryotherapy can speed up your metabolism, and of course, that Cryotherapy can help reduce muscle soreness so you can work out harder and longer.
So here is the plan:
I am going to start walking on the treadmill 3 days a week. Hopefully I will be able to build up to doing more quickly, but it depends on how much Cryotherapy keeps the pain and inflammation down in my creaky, 47 year old knees. I will also be dieting and doing Cryotherapy every day.
Well if you have gotten this far, you must not be faint of heart after being subjected to pictures like that. Next week we will check in on my first week progress and I will talk more about my diet and some of the supplements I am taking. Stick with me, and we will see how this turns out.
